Welcome to Chicago
ISUOG’s 2008 host committee is extremely proud to welcome you back to the United States. The World Congress on Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology is coming to Chicago for the first time from 24 to 28 August, 2008. Chicago’s beautiful lakefront, incredible architecture and cosmopolitan culture attract millions of people from around the globe every year. This city is renowned for its restaurants, museums, first-class shopping, adventurous nightlife, action-packed sporting events, and a thriving jazz and theatre scene.
The 18th World Congress will be held at the Navy Pier. The Navy Pier, named in honour of World War I veterans, is built out onto Lake Michigan, one of the most beautiful shorelines in the United States. With many attractions and 50 acres of parks and gardens, the Navy Pier is a perfectly located recreational centre next to Chicago’s downtown area. The local and international host committees promise to make an outstanding meeting. We look forward to receiving your scientific contributions and welcoming you to Chicago in August 2008.
